  • move
The Bronco (35107) ĎUS GPW 1/4t 4x4 Utility Vehicle (Mod. 1942)í is built primarily OOB, as very minimal scratch-building and aftermarket parts were added to this already finely detailed and fun to build kit. The model was painted with Vallejo Acrylics. At this time, there is no weathering to report, as figure and diorama base completion are pending.

Aftermarket bits: DEF.Model Wheel Set Value Gear Stowage Evergreen Styrene

Figures: Driver is from MiniArt (35047) U.S. Jeep Crew & MP set. Standing figures are from MiniArt (35161) U.S. Officers set. In addition, Hornet Heads and Hands have been added to some figures.

About Mike Freeman (justsendit)
FROM: COLORADO, UNITED STATES

Started up model building again after about thirty years away due to life and other interests. I've gotta' say ... products and resources have certainly come a long way! I'm very excited to finally return to the hobby! I absolutely love dioramas, figures ... and all modeling!

Looking good. Don't forget the front bracket that holds the canvas top bow when it's stowed. You can see it in the picture of the Jeep with Mark Clark, just above the front grab handle. The lower bolt also holds on the side protective strap.

Glad top be of help. Jeeps are the one thing I have a lot of knowledge about. I have a 1/1 scale 1944 Willys that I have been neglecting, and will be getting back on shortly.
