1⁄35Kassel 'Octopus' Tiger
This is modelled after the 'Octopus' Tiger that saw action near Kassel at the end of the war, being abandoned by it's crew and subsequently shot up by passing American tanks to make sure "nobody was home", eventually catching fire. This vignette shows the tank after it has been sitting for a few months.
Academy's Tiger 2 Last Production kit was used for this as it came with the narrow transport tracks that were found on this particular wreck. PE fenders and tool clasps were added and the model was painted with Tamiya acrylics and weathered with oils and pigments.
